longer cephalon, well-defined occipital furrow and ring, 3 pairs of strongly impressed lateral furrows, thorax of 7 or 8 segments, almost rectilinear pleurae, evenly tapering axis, fairly large, wide pygidium of about 7 segments, segmentation being similar to that of thorax
