Axial furrows joining longitudinal furrows at occipital furrow in stratigraphically lower species, becoming modified and joining longitudinal furrows well in front of occipital furrow in later species, or dying out posteriorly, Pygidium with 3 pairs of furrowed pleurae ending in free points
