Dolerolenus (Malungia) differs from Dolerolenus (Dolerolenus) in having 14 thoracic segments and a scissors-shaped pygidium. The hypostome is similar to that of Dolerolenus (Dolerolenus) with an ovate median body, deeply depressed maculae, a short posterior lobe, a narrow border, a straight or backward-bending posterior margin, a forward-arcuate anterior margin, and triangular anterior wings.
