Description

Like Ampyx but glabella diamond-shaped in outline, carinate, with long median glabellar spine subquadrate in section directed horizontally, glabella with 2 pairs of muscle scars, genal spines subquadrate in section. Thorax with 5 segments. Pleural regions of pygidium with 2 pairs of narrow pleural furrows.
