                Cephalon semicircular, margin evenly rounded, glabella with anterolateral recurved wings, confluent with marginal border, 2p and 3p lateral glabellar furrows absent on surface, 1p disappearing in median part, "intercalating ring" undivided, eyes and palpebral lobes absent, facial sutures restricted entirely to margin (alone among Phacopidae), genal angles rounded, not truncated. Pygidium large, axis narrow, long, axial ridge present.
